JVL - iTouch Machines
History
JVL Corporation is a Canadian company founded by Joseph Levitan. In the early 80s it began as a coin up repair shop and later started designing their own games. JVL gained recognition around the mid-late 90's with their Concorde series of machines and and was known for creating touchscreen gaming machines focused on high-quality, interactive entertainment machines for the hospitality industry, like bars, restaurants, and arcades.
By 2004 they were a leading player in the US, having made touch machines like the Conquest and Orion amongst others.
Joseph Levitan passed away in 2016, but his sons keep the company alive under the JVL Labs name:
- jvlhome.com still sells the JVL Echo to home users.
- jvl.ca makes a range of new machines for the gambling industry.
