Refreshed Photo Play Barry (1998-1999)

History

The Photo Play Barry was the first generation bartop version of the Funworld Photo Play.

There are three known revisions of the Barry:

• The original Photo Play 2000 Barry (1996)
• The refresh (1998-1999)
• The 2001 Barry 2.1 that was released as a budget option next to the Photo Play Smart 2.1.

Hardware

The Photo Play Barry is bartop machine, somewhat resembling a microwave.

It contains a 13 inch VGA CRT monitor with Microtouch Touch Screen overlay.

The first two revisions use the same computer system as the Photo Play 2000 hardware.

The Barry 2.1 uses same computer system as the Photo Play Spririt 2.1 hardware.
