Merit Megatouch Classic Upright

History

The Classic Upright (and the Countertop) were the first touch-screen based machines released by Merit in 1993.

With a similar format to earlier button operated games, they were the only two of the three available formats for the generation that ran the "Pit Boss Supertouch 30" and "Pit Boss Megatouch" software releases as they were shipped with the CRT-250 hardware. The CRT-260 revision was also available for them, making them the only machines that were able to run all software releases available for the generation.
