History
The 1996 Photo Play Barry was the first generation Photo Play bartop version by Funworld, released as part of the Photo Play 2000 generation. A new Barry (sometimes called "Barry Refresh") with a refreshed look was released circa 1999, but has the same hardware specs.

Below you'll find a table detailing the various hardware revisions.

Trivia
- Due to how easy it was to break the lock on the coin box, funworld designed an addon that would stop access to the lock and prevent extraction of the coin box.
- This was also the first machine released by funworld that could use the fun.link adapter for connecting two machines or more locally.
