The [[Funworld]] Photo Play Spirit 2.1 was released in 2001 as the standup cabinet of the "Net Collection 2001". This collection was the new range that came with dial up networking by default.
The Photo Play Spirit 2.1 was released in 2001 as the standup cabinet of the [[Funworld Photo Play Net Collection Generation|Net Collection Generation]]. Compared to the previous wooden 2000 cabinet, it has a more modern curved appearance, webcam, flatter CRT tube and stereo speakers.


The Spirit Xtreme was released in 2004 with a new more powerful computer and a slightly refreshed look.
Also improved (or reduced) was the floor space needed for the machine, the fact that the machine has no hard edges, a flatter back side and improved layout internally for easier maintenance.
 
Around 2007, the "Spirit Plus" computer upgrade kit for the Spirit 2.1 was released. This would make the 2.1 run the same software as the Xtreme.

History

The Photo Play Spirit 2.1 was released in 2001 as the standup cabinet of the Net Collection Generation. Compared to the previous wooden 2000 cabinet, it has a more modern curved appearance, webcam, flatter CRT tube and stereo speakers.

Also improved (or reduced) was the floor space needed for the machine, the fact that the machine has no hard edges, a flatter back side and improved layout internally for easier maintenance.
